Setup MacOS VPN
You can manually setup the VPN on your Mac using L2TP, iKEV2 or OpenVPN but the preferred method is to use the provided Mac VPN Software. Using our VPN Client on the Mac operating system is superior, faster to setup, more user friendly & more convenient. In some cases, users simply wish to have manual L2TP VPN, ikev2 VPN using the built in VPN client on the Mac OS. OpenVPN is also another option. Here is the Mac OS VPN setup guide, it is for the most recent Operating system but it is similar on earlier versions.
Step One
First thing to do is to download our MacOS VPN client.
Step Two
Once you have downloaded it, move it to the applications folder.
Step Three
Use launchpad to open installed apps. Find VPNaccounts app and open it. You may get a warning, click open to continue.
Step Four
Click on Settings to enter your VPN username & VPN password. Now click on update to save.
Step Five
While in settings, click on the Advanced tab for more features. It is recommended to use the Stealth option. Click the X to close the settings dialog.
Step Six
You are now ready to connect. Simply select the country of the VPN server you wish to connect to, followed by "SWITCH ON" Allow about 15-20 seconds for it to connect. Click on "SWITCH OFF" to disconnect.
Step One
Open the System preferences and click on Network, under Internet & Wireless.
Step Two
In the network connections panel, click on the "+" found at the bottom left corner of the panel.
Step Three
Select VPN from the drop-down menu for Interface. Now select L2TP over IPsec for the VPN Type. You will be asked to enter a service name, this can be anything of your choice. Now, click on Create.
Step Four
For Configuration leave it as default. For Server Address enter the server hostname found here. For Account Name enter your VPN username. Now you should click on Authentication Settings and next to password your VPN password and next to Shared secret enter 321inter. Now Click OK.
Step Five
Almost done! Kindly click on "Advanced settings" make sure "Send all traffic over VPN connection" is checked and hit OK.
Step Six
Leave the Show VPN status in menu bar box ticked. Click Apply, to create the VPN connection. That is all, now click Connect, to connect.
Step One

For Server Address enter the server hostname found here. For Remote ID enter the same server hostname. For the Local Id enter your VPN username.
Step Five
Almost done! Kindly click on Authentication settings and enter you VPN username & VPN password followed by clicking on OK. Almost done! Kindly click on Advanced settings make sure Send all traffic over VPN connection is checked and hit OK.
Step Six
Leave the Show VPN status in menu bar box ticked. Now click on Apply to save the settings. Your IKEv2 VPN on Mac OS connection is now ready to use.To connect using iKEv2, click on Connect

Step Two
Install the OpenVPN client onto your device.
Step Three
Kindly use the form below to generate the OpenVPN config file by selecting the serer and the port and then clicking on Generate. You have a few TCP and a few UDP ports to select. If the port is blocked you try another port.
Step Four
The OpenVPN client has an option to import the .ovpn config files that are generated using the form below. Once you import one, two or all of them you will be asked for your VPN username and VPN password in order to connect.
