01
Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to VPN-Accounts.com account and subscription administration, customer support, this website, and the relationship between VPN-Accounts.com and the provider of the underlying VPN infrastructure and client software.
BlueSnap, PayPal, app stores and other external destinations have their own privacy practices. This policy does not replace the policies that apply when you use those services.
02
Service roles and provider transparency
VPN-Accounts.com is the customer-facing seller of the VPN service and handles customer purchases, account administration and support.
The underlying VPN infrastructure and VPNclient software are supplied through third-party services. Their external policies do not replace this VPN-Accounts.com policy.
03
VPN network data and the upstream no-logs statement
VPN-Accounts.com does not directly operate the underlying VPN servers. Published documentation for the underlying VPN infrastructure states that it follows a strict no-logs policy.
That documentation states that the VPN infrastructure does not log:
- browsing history or websites visited;
- connection timestamps;
- user IP addresses;
- bandwidth usage per session;
- DNS queries;
Account information and VPN account-management records needed for billing and account status are retained.
A VPN changes how traffic is routed, but it is not a promise of complete anonymity. Websites, apps, devices, payment providers and other services may collect information independently.
04
VPN-Accounts.com customer information
The information handled depends on how you interact with the service. It may include:
- account and purchase information, such as a name, email address, billing details, payment confirmation and subscription status;
- an originating IP address associated with a site request or purchase record;
- support messages and information supplied to diagnose an account or connection issue; and
- technical website-request information needed to deliver pages and protect the site.
These customer-facing records are separate from the upstream VPN network-data statements above.
05
Account and subscription information
Account administration may require an email address and records that identify the subscription, plan, payment confirmation, renewal state and account status. A purchase record may also include a name, billing information and originating IP address.
This information is used to provide access, identify an order, communicate about the account, and resolve subscription or access issues.
06
Payment information
Payments are processed by BlueSnap or PayPal. The selected provider collects and processes payment-card or payment-account details under its own privacy policy and terms.
VPN-Accounts.com may receive payment confirmation, an order identifier, the selected plan, payment status and information needed to match a payment to an account. VPN-Accounts.com does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
07
Support and contact information
When you contact Support, VPN-Accounts.com receives the message and any account, device, connection or troubleshooting information you choose to provide. These records are used to respond, diagnose the issue and maintain the support history.
Do not send passwords, full card numbers or other sensitive credentials in a support message. The staging contact form is currently disabled and no production form-processing provider is identified in this policy.
08
Website and request information
When a browser requests a page, technical request information such as an IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time can be transmitted to the hosting infrastructure so the page can be delivered and the site can be protected.
The current Astro website source does not define hosting-log retention. Any material change to hosting-level logging or retention should be reflected in this policy once the production hosting configuration is confirmed.
09
Cookies, analytics and similar technology
The new static VPN-Accounts.com website does not currently include an analytics service, advertising pixel, third-party embed, or site code that sets analytics or advertising cookies or stores identifiers in browser storage.
External purchase, payment, app-store and linked sites may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. If analytics, advertising technology, a consent tool or another tracker is added to this website, this policy must be updated to describe it.
10
Why information is used
VPN-Accounts.com uses relevant information to:
- create and administer accounts and subscriptions;
- confirm payments and provide purchased access;
- communicate about an account, renewal, cancellation or support request;
- diagnose connection and setup issues;
- protect the service and investigate fraud, abuse, attacks or violations of the Terms of Service; and
- respond where disclosure is lawfully required.
11
Payment and service providers
Services involved in supplying the underlying VPN infrastructure and VPNclient software may receive and maintain account-management information needed for service operation.
BlueSnap and PayPal process payments independently under their own policies. The website’s hosting provider receives technical requests needed to deliver and protect the site.
No standalone production form-processing provider is currently identified. If one is selected for support messages, this policy must be updated to describe that processing.
Relevant information may also be provided to a service provider, payment provider or lawful authority where required or reasonably necessary to address serious abuse, fraud, illegal activity, exploitation or attacks.
12
Security
VPN-Accounts.com uses administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect account and service information. Access should be limited to people and providers who need it for service administration, payment confirmation, support, security or legal requirements.
No internet transmission, storage system or security measure can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Contact Support if you believe an account or communication has been compromised.
13
Privacy questions and account information
You may contact Support to ask a privacy question or to ask about information associated with your account. The information needed to locate the account or purchase may be requested before a response can be provided.
Do not send passwords or full card numbers. Payment-card questions may need to be directed to BlueSnap or PayPal because those providers process payment details.
14
External links and services
This website links to payment providers, app stores and other public pages. Following an external link means the destination’s privacy policy and terms apply to your activity there. VPN-Accounts.com does not control those external services.
15
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the website, service, providers or information practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest published version.
16
Contact about privacy
Use the Support contact form for a privacy question or an account-information request. Include enough information to identify the relevant account or purchase, but do not include passwords or full payment-card details.
